Rabu (10/9/2025) siang itu, Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Timur, Melki Laka Lena, meresmikan pembukaan 5th Exotic Tenun Fest (ETF) 2025 dengan tema “Dari Flobamorata untuk Nusantara” dan subtema “Menenun Potensi, Memperkuat Ekonomi NTT”.
“Tenun ikat adalah mahakarya leluhur yang menyimpan filosofi dan estetika tinggi. Melalui Exotic Tenun Fest ini, kita memperkenalkannya lebih luas, menjadikannya motor penggerak ekonomi kreatif sekaligus menjaga martabat budaya,” tutur Gubernur Melki, suaranya lantang namun sarat kelembutan.
Ia menegaskan, UMKM dan ekonomi kreatif adalah jantung pembangunan NTT, dari wastra hingga kopi, dari kuliner hingga seni pertunjukan. “ETF bukan sekadar perayaan, melainkan momentum memperkuat kolaborasi, memperluas jejaring, dan mempercepat transformasi ekonomi daerah berbasis inovasi,” tambahnya.
Hadir pula Deputi Gubernur BI Ricky Perdana Gozali secara virtual, Kepala BI Perwakilan NTT Adidoyo Prakoso, Ketua DPRD NTT, hingga para pemimpin daerah. Rangkaian acara dimeriahkan dengan talkshow, masterclass, lomba Flobamorata Exotic Voice, Battle of Coffee, hingga peluncuran Qris Parkir di Taman Nostalgia Kupang.

On Wednesday (Sept 10, 2025), Governor of East Nusa Tenggara, Melki Laka Lena, officially opened the 5th Exotic Tenun Fest (ETF) 2025, themed “From Flobamorata to the Archipelago” with the subtheme “Weaving Potential, Strengthening NTT’s Economy”.
“Ikat weaving is an ancestral masterpiece, carrying deep philosophy and beauty. Through this festival, we wish to share it widely, making it both an engine of creative economy and a guardian of cultural dignity,” Governor Melki declared.
He underlined that creative industries are at the heart of NTT’s development. “ETF is not just a celebration; it is a momentum to strengthen collaboration, expand networks, and accelerate the region’s creative-based economic transformation,” he emphasized.
The festival gathered leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs, offering exhibitions, competitions like Flobamorata Exotic Voice and Battle of Coffee, alongside the launch of Qris Park at Nostalgia Park.

Op woensdagmiddag (10 september 2025) opende gouverneur van Oost-Nusa Tenggara, Melki Laka Lena, officieel het 5e Exotic Tenun Fest (ETF) 2025, met het thema “Van Flobamorata voor de Archipel” en het subthema “Potentieel Weven, Economie Versterken”.
“Ikat is een meesterwerk van onze voorouders, vol filosofie en esthetiek. Met dit festival willen we het breder bekend maken, als motor van de creatieve economie én als beschermer van onze culturele waardigheid,” sprak gouverneur Melki.
Hij benadrukte dat creatieve economie en MKB de ruggengraat vormen van de ontwikkeling in NTT. “ETF is meer dan een viering; het is een momentum om samenwerking te versterken, netwerken uit te breiden en de creatieve transformatie van onze regio te versnellen,” voegde hij toe.
