TTS |BELUPOS.Com]– Senja menyisakan cahaya lembut ketika seribu lilin dinyalakan di gerbang Mapolres TTS, Senin (1/9/2025). Di sana, mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Cipayung—GMKI, GMNI, dan PMKRI—membawa suara nurani dengan damai. Mereka disambut hangat oleh Kapolres TTS AKBP Hendra Dorizen, SH, SIK, MH, dan Dandim 1621 TTS Letkol Inf Gunawan Budi Prasetyo, S.Sos.
“Adik-adik mahasiswa adalah sahabat kami. Jika aspirasi disampaikan dengan santun, maka TNI/Polri wajib membalas dengan senyum dan hati yang humanis. Tugas kami bukan arogan, melainkan menjadi benteng rakyat,” tutur Kapolres Dorizen, suaranya teduh menyapa massa aksi.
Sementara itu, Dandim Gunawan mengaku terharu. “Saya ucapkan terima kasih tulus. Semoga lilin-lilin kecil ini menerangi hati kita semua, agar negeri segera pulih dari badai persoalan,” katanya lirih.
Pantauan Belu Pos, usai doa dan penyalaan lilin di Mapolres, massa melanjutkan langkah damai ke Kantor DPRD TTS. Kapolres dan Dandim ikut mendampingi, menyalakan lilin bersama—membiarkan cahaya sederhana menjadi simbol besar persaudaraan.
Sebagai peneguh iman, firman Tuhan mengingatkan:
“Bangsa yang berjalan di dalam kegelapan telah melihat terang yang besar; mereka yang diam di negeri kekelaman, atasnya terang telah bersinar.”

Light of a Thousand Candles, TTS Police Chief and Military Commander Embrace Students’ Peaceful Aspiration
TTS |BELUPOS.COM]– As the evening fell on Monday (September 1, 2025), a thousand candles were lit at the gate of TTS Police Headquarters. Students united under the Cipayung alliance—GMKI, GMNI, and PMKRI—came with a peaceful voice of conscience, warmly welcomed by TTS Police Chief AKBP Hendra Dorizen, SH, SIK, MH, and Military Commander 1621 TTS Lt. Col. Inf. Gunawan Budi Prasetyo, S.Sos.
“Students are our friends. When aspirations are conveyed with respect, it is the duty of TNI/Polri to respond with a smile and a human heart. Our task is not arrogance, but to be the people’s shield,” Chief Dorizen said softly.
Commander Gunawan was equally touched. “I sincerely thank you. May these small candles enlighten our hearts and help the nation recover from its storms,” he expressed.
As observed, after the candlelight vigil at the Police Headquarters, the students marched peacefully to the TTS Parliament building. The Police Chief and Military Commander accompanied them, lighting candles together—letting the small flames shine as a great symbol of unity.
